Default Have you priced fertilizer?

I just ordered fertilizer. What cost around $20 a bag last time I order is
currently well over $40. I guess I will not be feeding as much for a while.

Yeah, I'd forgotten about that... A local vendor was complaining about the
cost of insecticide, too. (Sorry I don't remember which insecticide...may
have been orthene) Were all going to Helena handbasket.

What's the alternative? It's not that much of an issue for us, with only 300
+/- plants, but it must be a killer for the commercial folks.

Guess the price of orchids will go up as well.

There is a MAJOR shortage of mono potassium phosphate out there right now.
Fortunatly i stockpiled a 1000kilos of it just in case. Our wholesale cost
of fert. is up at least 25% this year alone and we have been sheilded from
the worst of it by the Canadian dollar astronomical rise( or the US Dollar
crash, which ever way u want to look at it.) But inflation is only 2%.
The G says so,so it MUST be true.

Just be sure you compost any manure you use. The last thing you need is to
be the source for an E coli or salmonella outbreak. No matter what the (now
deceased) idiot from Tasmania said. The USA just ain't that filthy anymore.

In my secret life I wish I was employed as the owner and chief bottle washer
in a business selling maggots and leeches for use in medicine. I envision
myself answering the phone 'Medical Maggots' in a bright chirpy tone. Makes
me smile every time. Can you imagine my logo and stationery?
