Dear Friends,

Hoosier Orchid Company is now ready to begin our final sales. As we
previously announced on our website and in emails, we will sell all
remaining plants owned by our company by sealed-bid auction. On the morning
of Wednesday, September 24, 2008, PDF files of all our auction lots will be
posted on our website at www.hoosierorchid.com . The first auction will
start October 1st.

It's been an incredible amount of work over the last few months to inventory
the plants, input and process the data, group and finally publish these
auction lots. We're excited to have reached this stage. We are certain
that some of our customers will be disappointed by our sales procedures or
the auction groupings, but we've tried to be as fair and as inclusive as
possible.

Going through the lists of plants, we recognize what an incredible
collection we're selling. This collection goes back to older nurseries as
well as plants that have been gathered and bred by us over the past 19
years. Just look through almost any auction lot and see the very special
plants - it is remarkable! Among other very special items, our sales
include the finest collection of Angraecoids ever offered, remarkably
comprehensive Stanhopea & Gonogra collections, fabulous terrestrial species
and hybrids, and one of the finest collections of Pleurothallids in the US.
You owe yourself a study of the auction lots - this is a once in a lifetime
opportunity to obtain plants never before available commercially in the US.

Remember that in order to bid on any lot you must be a qualified bidder. We
encourage you to register online as soon as possible. More information and
