Thanks When deflasking, if you can slide the entire plate seedlings and agar out in one piece it is best. You do less damage to the root structures. But to put agar on these plants just because it was in the flask with them, NO. The agar around the roots will wash out with normal watering and not pose a problem unless the flask was contaminated before you removed the plants.
