Default News server gone wild

Well, the Adelphia news servers have gone crazy. I opened the mail/news
page in Netscape, as usual. The first clue was 995 new messages in OBPO.
Then I noticed here on RGO there are 11,698 new messages.
Adelphia usually only leaves posts to binary groups for about 48 hours,
yet there are all those messages on ABPO going back to a month ago.
No advice needed, I can fix it. Just venting.

Wow, that's a lot! With Earthlink, RGO goes back two plus months. ABPO,
depending on how long the thread is, keeps posts up anywhere from four days
to ten.

LOL.........I've posted lots of "vent" messages!

Wish my SBC server would just get all the posts. Most of the time I see the
replies but not the orriginal post and most of the pictures posted never
show up at all.

Those will take you a while to read, but what else do you have to keep
you busy with that much snow and minus temperatures? ( I really am
sympathetic. If you catch a plane to San Francisco, we'll put you up for a
few days of R & R!)

Thanks anyway.

Ooh! I commiserate with you, Shell! I had that problem once, too, but now
my server is getting ALL the posts. Isn't it nerve wracking when you see
all the kudos for a wonderful flower you never get to see??
