burned leaf tips on a Catt

My Catt orchids are getting burned tips on some of the leaves. Younger
plants are Ok only the more mature plants are showing the problem. I
also have one plant that has not bloomed in twenty years. It grows
lots of new leaves and looks healthy. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

It's really hard to say with the little bit of info you provided, but
leaf-tip burn is often a result of overdoing it with fertilizer or the
accumulation of fertilizer salts in the medium. Using too much nitrogen has
been implicated in that as well, and may stop plants from blooming.

If you can provide more info, maybe we can contribute better info in return.

I can't help with an answer, but I'm having a similar problem. I'm in outer
eastern Melbourne, Australia & we're having a drought, but still getting
enough grey water. The actual leaves shouldn't be cut back should they? I
new to this game, I'd be interested to see any responses.

Do not cut any leaves off. Let them fall off naturally, when they want to.

Thanks for your response Karen, I was quite tempted to do just that.
