Default OGD status and changes

Hello all,

Just a quick update for you all on the OrchidGuide Digest (OGD) discussion
list.

I saw a post from Kathy back in December wondering whatever happened to me
as traffic on the OGD was slow.
I even saw some talk of discussion lists munging away at the listowners, but
as you can see I'm still alive.

Earlier this week I switched the list and domain to another server. This
change of servers was necessary to allow AOL users to subscribe and receive
the digest, as some AOL users have "arisen from the dead", it seems to have
been successful.
At the same time I also changed the mailing list software, most important
changes a online archives (the previous 4 years will be added later on);
better bounce handling and daily digests.

If you want to know more about the Internet's largest orchid discussion
mailing list (the OGD) please visit
http://lists.orchidguide.com/mailman/listinfo/orchids.

Happy orchid growing,

Kenneth Bruyninckx
OrchidGuide Digest listowner.
