Frequently found as in collections as D. hilderbrandii, which is now a synonymon. D. regium was described by David Prain (1857-1944) in Volume lxxi.80, Journal Asiat. Soc. Beng. Sorry, unable to locate date of publication. Prain published a number of articles relating to Indian plants and trees, during the 1880s, upto 1904, or so. Hope this helps some Jerry Camp Lot A Noise Tropicals (C. L. A. N.) Orchid Species, Hybrids, Supplies, Photos and Books Chat (941) 352-2483 Fax: (941) 351-2483 X 123 Order Only 1-800-351-CITE |

Dendrobium question
Well, now that I know it was published in J. Asiat. Soc. Beng vol 71, I
was able to look up when some other volumes were published: 1880 vol. 49 1886 vol. 55 1889 vol. 58 1893 vol. 62 1901 vol. 70 Sooo, I'm guessing it was 1902 Thanks for your help.
