On a related topic to my earlier post, Merit 75 WP can be used as a
root drench and/or foliar spray. Any thoughts about the best way to go
for general mealybug and scale control? Both?

Ditto root drench, or soak the whole dang pot if possible. Mealies hide on
the underside of individual pieces of bark. Its hard to get to 'em if the
solution comes only from the top.

Regarding Merit 75 WP is it safe orchids. Are there any precautions to
consider?
