Default Can scale live in humidity trays?

Hi everyone!

I just discovered scale on a few orchids that are on top of a humidity tray.
I'm taking care of the plants with alcohol and neem oil. Do I need to clean
the tray, too? I really don't want the little critters to come back.

Thank you!

Sarah

Thanks, Diana! I guess I have one more thing to clean.

It appears to me that scale can live ANYWHERE! For plants in pots, this
includes the outside of the pot, esp. the lower edge of the lip ... I will
not be surprised if they are discovered on Luna, or even Mars G.
