I opened ABPO the other day,then it just vanished !.When I now try so
resubscribe it is no longer in the list.I have been using teranews to get
ABPO for the last year or more.I have never had this problem before.I hope
it is just a glitch on teranews side & hope they will add it back to the
list.I will really miss ABPO if they don't!!

Your post "Sorry testing" came through on abpo. So either you are receiving
abpo again, or your can at least post there.

Thought for the future (both for you and anyone else in a similar
situation):

If you are sorry that you are posting just a test post, consider the
benefits of posting a real post as a test. If it goes through correctly, you
will know that your test worked, and noone else will know it was a test, and
thus no reason to be sorry. If it does not post correctly, you can always
try posting it again at a later time.

It's interesting that so many of us have this strange idea that a test needs
to state that it is a test "Testing, testing". I've been guilty of that
myself, but have later thought that it only makes sense if for example one
needs to put test records into a business database and needs to be able to
differentiate them from the real ones, but in newsgroup posts there is no
need for other to be able to differentiate your tests from your real posts.

They lost a hard drive on the free server and most newsgroups vanished.
It's fixed now. TeraNews never updates their system status web page till
after they fix the problem which sounds rather dumb to me but then they may
like 10 million emails about things now working.
