Default Cattleya growth

I have a recently purchased Cattleya, and the newest growth is growing
horizontally, rather than upright. Is there anything I can do to
encourage it to grow up, as all the other p-bulbs have done in the
past? Thanks for any info.

yes, I agree turn it the opposite way to the light source & it will "turn' back straighter ! ....I had the same thing happen to me, i left it a bit too long for it to turn back upright....it has a sheath on it now but not 'puffing up ' yet...
I wish I had turned it whilst the new growth was smaller as is still at an angle..... I've now learned from experience!
