Oncidium (Odontoglossum?) trilobum flower spike

I have a plant that was sold to me as --Odontoglossum trilobum--,
though, IIRC it is now called --Oncidium trilobum-- (I may be wrong,
and would not mind being set right.)

Anyway. This thing has put out an incredibly long flower spike. It is
getting plenty of light in the outer branches of an apricot tree, so I
don't think it lacks for lumens. The spike must be nearly five feet
long and still growing. Is this typical? BTW, it is going to be
loaded with flowers.

Hi Jadel, That's what to expect from Onc. trilobum-- lots of very nice
flowers, but it's real value is as a breeder-- makes terrific hybrids,
I have several. Enjoy, Bill
