Vandaenopsis Millie's Blue Heaven

So Al, do you have a picture of Vandaenopsis Millie's Blue Heaven? The
cross sounds very interesting (V coreulea x Phal equestris). Did you use a
different color variety of equestris for the cross?

I just sold one in spike that a customer found. It would have been only the
second I have seen bloom and I would have kept it but there is a looming oil
bill. There are not too many left. I will put up a picture of the first
one to bloom (several years ago) in abpo.

Vdnps. Millie's Blue Heaven (V. coerulea var. alba x Phal. equestris
'Riverbend')
George Snellenburger made this cross, not me. I believe George is now
deceased, at least that is what I was told when I tried to get in touch with
him about getting some of his crosses registered.

One of the local orchid people, who is also one of the region's judges saw
it in flower while she was visiting the greenhouse last summer and told me
it was 'interesting but not really an improvement on either species"
