Default Room to let. U.K. W.Midlands

I've been brainstorming ways to reduce my environmental foot-print. Being
inexperienced in permaculture and not having much growing space, I don't want
to go too radical or leave myself short of cash. Some solutions that I've
considered, like a full grey water system and solar installations, seem too
expensive to justify for a single person. I am also facing redundancy from the
automotive industry (just waiting for a big redundancy cheque), so money could
become tight very quickly. I will be looking on redundancy as an opertunity,
rather than a problem.

One solution that I would like to employ is to let out a room to someone who is
interested in permaculture, so that fewer resources can be used by more people.
This should also extend the use of my car, which I will exchange for an older,
more robust diesel and have it converted to run on waste vegetable oil. As
there isn't much growing space, locally, I have already investigated an
allotment, but that hasn't come off yet. If there are enough people interested,
maybe it would be better to finish off the house, sell it, and, as a group, by
a more suitable place.

What I need most of all is someone I can bounce ideas off, even if they are,
like me, new to the concepts.

If you are interested and want to e-mail me privately, please do so by knocking
'bacon' out of the address, above.
