Default Amaryllis bulbs, bulblets and fertilizer

Hi Folks,

I have some Amaryllis bulblets and some youngsters that I started from
seed in 2001. Some of these are producing bulblets of their own
without ever producing a flower. I have been using a 10-15-10
fertilizer.

Does anyone know what is causing the plants to produce bulblets instead
of increasing the bulb size and producing a flower?
