WG: Registration open: COST FA1306 Meeting 'The quest for tolerantvarieties - Phenotyping at plant and cellular level' at IPK Gatersleben
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN 1st General Meeting of the COST Action FA1306 'The quest for tolerant varie= ties - Phenotyping at plant and cellular level' chaired by Sebastien Carpentier (KU Leuven, Belgium) and Ulrich Schurr (FzJ= , Germany) http://www.cost.eu/COST_Actions/fa/Actions/FA1306 June 22nd to 24th, 2015 Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant = Research, Gatersleben (Germany) This COST action is bringing together scientists involved in phenomics init= iatives across the world, in systems biology research and interdisciplinary= researchers. The final goal to bunch the expertise in the different areas = to develop strategies about how to integrate different -omics areas (includ= ingphenomics), how to use natural diversity for the identification of highe= r yielding, resistant and efficient crops in terms of adaptation to a chang= ing climate and finally how to translate this into good practices for the a= pplied end use. The program includes 3 sessions: Session 1: Novel sensors and sensor integration: from low tech to high tech= (WG 1) Session 2: Phenotyping the metabolome (WG2) Keynote Lectu Yves Gibon (INRA Bordeaux, France) Session 3: From gene to phene: screening natural diversity (WG3) Keynote Lectu Andreas Graner (IPK) FOR FURTHER INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION: http://meetings.ipk-gatersleben.de/C...2015/index.php The Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research, Gaterslebe= n (Germany) represents an internationally renowned plant research center wo= rking on the aspects of modern biology in fundamental and applied research = by focussing on cultivated plants and houses several high throughput plant = phenotyping systems as well as genomics, metabolomics and proteomics facili= ties. http://www.ipk-gatersleben.de/ Feel free to distribute this announcement! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------= --------- Dr. Astrid Junker Heterosis Group DPPN Node Office Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research Gatersleben (IP= K) Corrensstrasse 3 D-06466 Gatersleben +49 39482 5226 [DPPN klein] [EPPN] http://www.plant-phenotyping-network.eu/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------= --------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------= --------------------- Forschungszentrum Juelich GmbH 52425 Juelich Sitz der Gesellschaft: Juelich Eingetragen im Handelsregister des Amtsgerichts Dueren Nr.
