Help identify unknown plant material

Seeking help identifying a small portion of plant material. My
predicament is I inherited a small machine apparantly used to extract
oils from an unknown plant. I want to sell the machine but first need
to identify the type plant (found inside machine) in order to offer
the machine to the proper industry. Is there a lab or other place I
could submit a sample for identification.

You can only go to the nearest college or uinversity, also a big
hopspital can help you to identify your plant

There must some evidence of what the device was employed for.

For example was the former owner a horticulturists or a brewer, use
some detective skills. Maybe it was an oil press for linseed or some similar
substance.

An agricultural college is your best bet for identification of residues.
