Grapefruit tree ill

I have a grapefruit tree that I've had for about 25 years. I grew it from a
seed I got when I was in Florida. It is in a pot. It was left on the deck
during a frost and now all the leaves are brown and are falling off.

Is there any hope or is it a gonner - is there anything I can do to make it
recover?

I live in Pennsylvania - zone 6, I think.

Most likely you killed it.

Nobody grows grapefruit from seed anyway.

Well...I grew this one from a seed. I was visiting in Florida and pulled
some grapefruit form a tree in the back yard. After getting them home to
Pennsylvania I took a few seeds and let them germinate. After getting some
roots I planted one in a pot. I've been able nurse it along for a long time.
My wife put it outside this summer and it loved all the warmth and sunlight.
It was looking better than it has in years.

Unfortunately the frost was not it's friend.

I brought it inside and watered it a little and just let it sit there in a
room with not a lot of sunlight. It's a room on the NW side of the house
actually.

It has started to grow leaves on one branch. It's not pretty, but it may
survive with some selective pruning. I'll sit it in a room on the south side
in a few days to see how it goes.

Try using artificial lights and see if it is getting better then.
I use flourecent lamps for my chillis and they seem to like it at
18 / 6 (light/dark)
