want to obtain seeds of Ulmus racemosa or rock elm
Today I received some bad news that I can not get Rock elm or Cork elm,
or Ulmus thomasii or Ulmus racemosa from any nearby nursery. I searched on the Internet for a seed or plant dealer. If worse comes to worse, I may have to make a trip to where there are some such trees. But I am hoping that someone who has this species nearby, whether they can provide me with information on how to obtain the plant, or seeds thereof. As I said in a previous post, we should set up in horticulture an organization of "friends of a species" where several persons across the country become seed guardians of that species and is willing to send others who want to cultivate the species with seeds. P.S. Does someone in Europe have Cork Elm, or Rock Elm (Ulmus racemosa) and can send me seeds thereof? I would like to establish a diversity of the species at my location. Thanks |
