plant growth model

Dear All,
I am working in a project for science education in which we are trying to
connect the growth of a physical plant with a virtual alter-ego.
For this reason we need an algorithm / equation / magic box which can take
as inputs the sensors we have (Light, Humidity, Heat) and give as output the
expected growth of all the parts of a simple plant like beans (roots, body,
leaf, stem, flower), etc.
Can someone give me advices on how to do this?
(links, code, ideas, documents, ...)
All the kind of anwers will be wellcomed

Thanks

Sounds like a really involved and highly technical non-botanical problem.

Are you going to pay us for being technical advisors?

Try the bionet.plants.education newsgroup.
