Default Southern California Botanists!

The Southern CA Botanists are holding their 32nd Annual Symposium Oct 28
at CSU Fullerton. The focus of the symposium is the Flora and Ecology of
the Santa Monica Mountains.There will be speakers on the Lichens,
Bryophytes, revisions of the flora, Vegetation Communities, Wildfire
Influence, Impact of Freezing and Drought on the distribution of
chaparral shrubs, and rare species. Registration by Oct 15 is $35 and
$45 after the 15th and that registration includes a membership to SCB.
They have botanically oriented sales people present with books,
t-shirts, drawings, etc. For further info visit the SCB website at
