Absolutely. There are some real ones that are a lot worse. Lindley named an
orchid genus Aa, just to get it in the front of Index kewensis.

oops, you're right. The point I was trying to make is the same, that sometimes
serious scientists give plants & animals funny names. There is some animal, I
think it is an African antelope, whose Latin name is Siala siala, which means
spit. I don't know why.
