Default How much light do palms need?

I refer to the indoor decorative types often seen in
Victorian photographs (the so-called "Potted Palm".)

Victorians used some variety of palms, ie Trachycarpus fortunei, which
needs plenty of light, while Chamaedorea species love shade. It
depends on the species u want to grow. As a roule however, u should
know that young plants, need shade in comparison to bigger plants, of
the same species

Thanks, I have a Wedding Palm that is turning yellow.
Perhaps it needs more shade.
