you only get that problem if you apply soap is if you were in a hard water
area. I've known lasses washing who were shocked at how little soap powder

I would agree that it furs up pipes and immersion heaters, but then it
protects you from excessive intake of lead and copper from your pipes.

You have now sussed why plumbers in the southeast are in short supply

No problem in a kettle, you just get crunchy bits from time to time.

Mind you I suppose you may not have graduated to pipes in your area so
heavy metal contamination may not be a problem. OTOH you may still
