Default Another Twist

Remember I said it is a characteristic of Sophronitis hybrids to have this
little twist in the leaves, for whatever reason. There is another genus in the
Cattleya alliance, called Laelia. Well, a few years ago, one of those
troublemakers decided that the Brazilian Laelias are not related to the Mexican
Laelias. He took all the Brazilian Laelias & stuck them in the genus
Sophronitis, where they are to this day, until someone takes pity on them &
puts them in a new genus or somewhere else.
I have a hybrid of one of the rock-dwelling miniature Brazilian former Laelias
with other Cattleyas, which recently reached maturity & bloomed. I took a look
at it today, & sure enough, the adult leaves have that twist.
