Default plant behaviour

I am a student from Roumania looking for some answers about the world
around.Just other day I entered a discussion regarding the capacity of
plant to reason,to think. For what regards me I think that plants are
capable to think. But to my ashame I cannot prove this theory.
So I came to you and ask you: Are plants capable of reason? And if
they are what are the arguments to upholp this conclusion?
Thank you in advance hoping that you will help me in this matter.
