White Ash: Fraxinus americana cultivars for Autumn foliage
I seemed to have missed something whilst living on the East Coast.
Seeing beautiful ash trees. I see only green-ash species here in the midwest. And I am guessing that with proper care I can make white-ash grow here alongside green-ash. But I never appreciated ash trees until recently. I saw a picture of a nice red autumn foliage of white-ash which sparked my newly found desire to grow some. I found these cultivars are nice colors: Autumn purple -- purple and red Greenspire -- orange Royal Purple Skyline -- orange-red, semi glossy leaves I do not ever remember seeing a purplish tree in the northern woods. I was wondering if any nursery can provide me with the 4 above listed cultivars. Archimedes Plutonium, whole entire Universe is just one big atom where dots of the electron-dot-cloud are galaxies |
