Natural springs, and building?!
hey everyone...spring has arrived..well just about.
im starting to gather ideas, and work on what ill be doing once its warm enough. i have one question thats been buggin me.... i dont want to spend money on a pond liner. i have alot clay in my ground in it holds water Very well. thing is, it looks kinda nasty when its brown clayish color dirt and water. could i cover the entire bottom of the pond with rocks/slate. this would make things 100x easier for me. im just not sure how it would look and the pond would take to it through out the summer. The pond right now is about 12x12 - circlular, and around 18 inches deep. if i could use this method of rocks and slate, ill dig deeper..i cant right now because there are natural springs beneath that 18 inches. so yea! that would be really awesome to have a CLEAN looking NATURAL pond. any ideas?? thanx ! |
