Want to build a concrete pond
Live in North Herts and want to build a concrete pond.
Does anyone have any advice on where to begin? I am guessing the concrete needs to be sealed once hardened.... Is it a simple task? Thanks |

Sealing it is easy, just paint with 3 coats of a sealant such as V8 or G4 http://www.aquatics-online.co.uk/lis...206&rets= 375 Maidenhaead Aquatics have a page on conctrete ponds at http://www.fishkeeper.co.uk/beaver/page14.asp and their shops sell the sealant. A Google search should bring up lots of information on building a concrete pond. You can get chopped fibreglass to mix with mortar to give a very strong liner that you plaster on after the concrete has set. -- Regards - Rodney Pont The from address exists but is mostly dumped, please send any emails to the address below e-mail ngpsm4 (at) infohitsystems (dot) ltd (dot) uk |
