Eureka!
Jun just came in and told me there is a live, red, fish, about 6" long in
the pond! I am amazed, because three died and I've only seen three in the past. I'll hafta look tomorrow. Yippee! -- Nick. Support severely wounded and disabled Veterans and their families! Thank a Veteran and Support Our Troops. You are not forgotten. Thanks ! ! ! ~Semper Fi~ |

Yippee! =========================== It looks like you had some canoodling koi last year. ;-) Tomorrow we drain down the 800g inground pond to remove all the fry from last summer. I enjoy sorting through them looking for anything exceptional in color, markings, finnage or scale type. Poor colored, poorly shaped and anything deformed is also removed. They go to farm ponds for mosquito control duty. The exceptional ones are held for another year and the rest are sold off......... -- RM.... Frugal ponding since 1995. rec.ponder since late 1996.
