Default Eureka!

Jun just came in and told me there is a live, red, fish, about 6" long in
the pond! I am amazed, because three died and I've only seen three in the
past. I'll hafta look tomorrow. Yippee!

It looks like you had some canoodling koi last year. ;-)

Tomorrow we drain down the 800g inground pond to remove all the fry from
last summer. I enjoy sorting through them looking for anything exceptional
in color, markings, finnage or scale type. Poor colored, poorly shaped and
anything deformed is also removed. They go to farm ponds for mosquito
control duty. The exceptional ones are held for another year and the rest
are sold off.........
