Laguna Filter

Does anyone have or had a Laguna pressure flo filter? I'm looking to replace
my BioForce 1000.
Pros /Cons?
Thanks for any help.

I have only upflow filters. Just remember that Laguna, and pretty
much everyone else always overestimate the capacity of their filters.
My first filter was a Laguna 1000, which claimed it could handle any
of their pumps, which I believe is at least 2500 gpm. I was later
told that was 'unrestricted flow' - like for instance, filter mats or
media. To do hardly any mechanical filtering you had to reduce the
flow to around 500 gpm. It seems Jan once said that the real rating
of most filters is about 1/2. They are cheating because a no fish/
very low fish pond only needs about 1/2 the filtering capacity.
