mini yellow iris
To continue our iris theme!
Today the ladies who latte pursed pond plants and I found sisyrinchium californicum, or a mini iris as it was described http://tinyurl.com/2wozff The tag says it is good to zone 6, online says 8-10... time will tell. It will be up on the deck in a watery container and can be protected in the winter (zone 7a here). Very pretty with the starlike yellow flowers. Available in the UK from my interet wanderings k :-) http://tinyurl.com/6bguh ~ new pond keeper info http://tinyurl.com/yp64db ~ slide show of pond |
