Not sure where to put this little story about PERCY the penquin .

Percy is now about 55 years old or could even be older than that not quite sure.

percy the penquin used to live by a really large pond in Grandads garden, he is really heavy and made of concrete .
when Grandad who owned percy ,got to be 85 he went to live with his daughter and sold his house .


but Grandad took Percy the penquin with him .
poor percy was stuck down the bottom of Grandads daughters garden and was there for years ,and was completey forgotten about, the bushes and shrubs hid him from view.


then one day after a clear up percy was found , oh dear what a sight he was , he had no paint on him and he looked really forgotten about .


But no worries Grandads Granchildren were all grown up and decided to take percy into their garden , so off he went with them and he had a complete new paint job done on him , and how smart he is looking now , he was even given a red bow tie .


no longer is percy hidden from view he has pride of place by the front door of his new garden.

and he even has a little penquin friend now , i bet Grandad would be pleased to see how percy has ended up .


yes i know i am mad LOL

but i am happy to still have percy the penquin around .

i wonder if he will still be around in another 55 years .
