Vacuum Leak
Hi, I have a fluid art challenger system running against our pond. I
suspect I have a vacuum leak somewhere since the pump starves for water after about 10-12hrs. Any pointers on how one can diagnose the problem? No apparent water leaks while the system is running. TIA |

Vacuum Leak
Welcome to rpm.
I have no real wisdom for you. You can try some water on the supply side joints and see if it gets pulled in. You could also have the pump pull directly from the pond to see if the unit itself leaks. Do you see bubbles where the water exits the return? Jim |

Vacuum Leak
Are you sure that the supply line isn't getting clogged/blocked by
something? How soon after the pump has one of these episodes does it "bounce back" and work properly again? Dave |

I think you should not experiment with the things like this on your own, better take it to the pro..
