Looks great. Prediction: If the hyacinth grows, you will have a full
pot!

Not a good service, to view your photos, you first need to sign in to
Yahoo, then join Flickr.

You don't need to do any of that with Photobucket.

Really nice. I'd keep water level low enough so fish don't jump out.
I lost a couple in my round tub "fish hotel" while rebuilding my pond
last year.

Cool!!!! JDS, I have 3 of those same pots! And I totally forgot what I do
to stop stagnation. Okay... one does have a pump with spitter... because I
just can't leave a quiet pool alone I guess. roll eyes But the other
2...
DS has all 3 hooked to drip system, when sprinklers come on they overflow
a
bit every other day. I have used baby goldfish in the past, tadpoles last
year... and this year, some of the straight tailed wakins will go in them
for skeeter control.

Yours looks very cute! I put irises from the koi pond in mine, along with
floating islands of water cress & creeping jenny, and a canna I've
conditioned to water. Between 2 of them I have a bench seat that sits on
the edge of them. ~ jan

have that fountain head.

I had one with a large solar panel years ago. Direct sunlight was a must. I
liked having water movement though... and at that time the lily pond was
just for frogs to breed, and a few goldfish in summer. The next year I ran
an extension cord ugly... The year after, for mother's day, DS & DH, gave
me underground wiring. Thus... it was time to install the BIG filter
outside the pond and none too soon, since my neighbors complained about the
frog's nightly music. Frogs have since been relocated to other side of
house and smaller digs, wakins and fantails stay in the pond year 'round.

Hal, your yard is so gorgeous... but... I don't know, seems wife needs an
upgrade on her musical pond container. ;-) It is a nice pretty bright white
though. Maybe the grandkids could draw some flowers on it? ~ jan

LOL very interesting!

I think 9" would be too big for my little pot. But I may try sometime.

Anything smaller out there?
