Hi - has anyone grown Hibiscus Palustrus (AKA Hibiscus moscheutos) as a

Not up on latin names, but swamp hibiscus or marsh mallow grows great in
the pond (picture on my website)

white. Zone 7, but I think it is hardy to Zone 5. ~ jan

Thanks - yep, Marsh Mallow is the same thing; has anyone had experience
with it in Zone 5, freezing in the pond over winter?
