waterfall&filter

I am overhauling my pond. I have a 5x10 pond. 2 1/2 feet deep. I am planning
on getting it 3 ft deep. A guy I work with told me to put in a drain under
the pond leading to a filter and waterfall. Does anyone have a easy to do
site I can get ideas on how to do this?
Thanks in advance,
Priss

Look at the drain page of http://www.geocities.com/bickal2000/pond.htm for a
DIY setup. If you pond is existing, then the vacuum drain on the left is
the one you want to look at. While your looking at that, look at the pipe
boot for a means of going through the liner with the bottom drain piping.
