I don't want to scare the frogs...
 

My frogs seem to be coming out of hibernation and sitting around the pond
already (I am in North Carolina). The thing is, there's some leaves and
junk in the bottom of the pond that I would like to clean out. Will this
disturb the frogs too badly at this time? I worked really hard last year so
they would call it home. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I miss the sleepy frogs coming out of the pond this year.....I always gave them
a couple weeks to warm up, they always looked so drab, and weak at first.
After that, I would be tripping over them...they wouldn't move, or would come
see what I was doing....greenfrogs, five of them.....but that was in the past
years, and this winter did in the entire pond....so I look forward to the next
big spring rain, when another one, or two will take up residence.

Give 'em a couple weeks to get going...
