OT--how do I change my email?
 

I'm new around here, but would like to continue posting....but, I'm starting to
get more spam than ever.

How do you change your email to include "nospam" or something like it? Can I
not change mine because I'm using AOL? Arrgghh!

not familiar anymore with aol but if you can go into mail preferences --
idenity change it there

I run a MAC on 7.0
and I can go to the Internet button
and in that box you can find the place
to add a no spam.
But on my childrens' PC 8.0 I can't
find that place.
There are some AOL help boards, the ones
which actual users post on gives the best
help.

I would think you could leave AOL, find a local ISP, and access
newsgroups with OE, Netscape, or a newsreader like MicroPlanet's
Gravity.

I get a lot of spam too, but my filters catch most of it.
