Yesterday, I counted over 30 mixed-variety fishies that had survived the winter.
Today when I went out to feed them, there were NONE.
NOT ONE!

Three plant pots were overturned, so obviously something ate them.
Usually I blame a heron. The pond has a stone bridge they can hide
under, and there is shelter behind the huge boulder-waterfall.
Whatever ate them was very patient because NOT ONE is left!
