Hi new build pond

Hi,

Right this is my idea. I have just moved into my terrace house and have dug up my garden(due to someone bearing my man hole cover), so i have decided that i want a pond.

I have built a pond before but this one is going to be different. It's going to be 20foot by 3 foot by 3 foot. The difficult part is going to be this:

I want a 2foot x 1 foot window in the side of the pond, like the ones you have in zoos etc. My question is how much pressure will the glass be under, what thickness glass will i need(16mm), and how much do you think the glass will cost?

By the way have anyone seen anything like this done before? if so could you send me a photo, as i need to convince my girl friend that it is good idea.

thanks,
kelvin
