Default Did 9/11 bring this room down?

What has happened to this room? It was once such a wonderful place to
step into - now it seems to be a personal psycho ward. Is there now
way to stop this?

I stopped coming in after 9/11 because when Bush started beating his
war chest about invading Iraq and someone brought the topic up I
foolishly pointed out

1 Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and was not threat to us
2 Invading Iraq would make the terrorist stronger and increase their
number
3 Invading given #1 was a criminal act and would destroy our
reputation with the rest of the world
4 It would cost us money that was needed in our own country and to
finish the job in Afghanistan

For making these simple points I was called a traitor and UnAmerican
by someone I had once thought very highly of. She was supported by
others I had once considered to be 'nice' people.

Did that insanity grow and is something new and entirely unrelated?
Is there any way to end it? Will we ever have our world back the way
it was?

So very sad.

No, so use the moderated pond group.

It's amazing how "nice" people can turn into extremely un nice people when
someone disagrees with them. Their true colors emerge.

This group is finished. Killed by a narcissistic anti-social sociopathic
Jehovah's Witness who felt he had the right to play god and punish innocent
souls for refusing to knuckle under to his blackmail Gestapo tactics.
