Pump Failure

Hi

After three or four power failures in quick succession my pond pump has stopped working, there seems to be no power to the motor. I have checked a looked at the obvious wiring and fuse faults all ok. So im just wondring if the pump has had it or can it possibly be repaired.

The pump is a Hozelock Titan 2000

Many thanks for reading and possibly giving me advice.

The forum has moved to rec.ponds.moderated on Google groups.

Also recommend Googling the manufacturer's name and calling them for a
ruling. Also check your local craigslist buy and sell ads for a slightly
used pump replacement. There are some excellent deals there.

It looks like there is some trouble in your pump. You should try to repair your pump. I hope this trick will definitely work for you. Good Luck....

A pump is composed of two parts - part of dry and wet sections. Dry Day is the motor located here. The drive and move the wet part. Wet Branch impeller water is responsible for mobile. The main symptoms and hot tub pump failure-related causes are the following.
* a harsh noise or complaints - usually from the bearings getting worn out.
* Motor does not run the component failure - which may lead to soft or loud hum.
* freeze wells and broken bearings also prevent the running motor.
* start capacitor may deteriorate, to prevent start the motor.
* impeller may be jammed, the motor may not start, as a result.
* Seal leaks around the pump - which resulted in the sump pump under the water.
