I have a sequence pump, I cannot remember what model but it was a PRO. I
have actually had this thing get submerged in my pump box twice ( until I
fixed it) and I just pulled it, blew it out with the compressor, plugged it
in and it is still running. I would definetly buy another one in the future
if needed. I know you also can send your pumps to them to be rebuilt also.

I have a Sequence pump for my pond, don't remember the model offhand. It has
run 24/7 for 3 1/2 years straight with zero problems. I'd buy another in a
heartbeat. Good pumps.

I have heard they are good pumps, BUT how high are you pumping the water? I
see at 8 ft the head is down by 50% I don't know what your needs are but you
should take that into consideration.
I also looked at your skimmer post, I am thinking about one of those myself.
I have seen them cheaper, you might want to look around some more if price
is important. At http://groups.msn.com/TheOldGardenPond there is a section
of vendors that members have had good luck with.

Being that they are external pumps, if you had a 8 ft high waterfall I dont
think it is going to be in our backyard! I have mine pumping probably a 3
ft head, and I have to restrict the flow as it is too much.

I have a Sequence pump, 3600 gph, don't know the exact model. I also
have had it get submerged, just blew it out with compressed air. Runs
great. I'm running with a 6' head feeding an upflow filter to a 30"
wide stream. I'm getting more than sufficient volume.
