filter media question

Has anyone ever used weed block fabric for filter media or can think
of any problems with using it? I'm thinking of using it for a final
stage filtering.

I would think it will plug up pretty fast?

filter media question

I beleive the fabric is designed for one way flow, ie: water gets in, but
can't get out, and I also think that it has some kind of chemical in it, to
resist weeds and the ilk.

Bob

For the final stage, I think it is worth a try. It tends to stick together
when wet though.

Someone mentioned pesticide treated, that is only on the more expensive
stuff so read the label, most is not treated. I use it to line my baskets
to keep the dirt in, works great. ~ jan
