Comets outgrew pond?

We have four. They were each an inch long when we bought them, now they are a
foot long, and beefy! They are in a pond of circulating water which holds,
combined, 165 gallons of water. The pond is hardside and is about 16 inches
deep. Can we continue to leave them in there? Is it cruel? What should we do?
I doubt any of the fish places would want them since they are actually feeder
comets.

We live in Austin, Texas, USDA Zone 8b, the ground never freezes and the pond
will freeze a skin on top only one to three times all winter...in a harsh winter
storm. Heater?

Air pump, to keep the water circulating. Heat is only required in
really cold, like zone 5, or less.

Ask around........you may be surprised. In my area large goldfish of any
kind are in high demand.
