How powerful a pump?
 
Hi,

For a 1300 gallon pond with 4 full sized koi, how powerful a pump will
I need to get for filtration purposes?

How powerful a pump?
 
Really depends more on your tubing/pipe size and filter. Too small diameter
pipe and it won't matter how big the pump is, because only so much water
can be pushed thru a certain size opening.

That said, get a pump that will drive water thru your filter at least one
turn around per hour, 1300 pond = 1300 gph exiting and entering. ~ jan
