Today we have about an inch and a half of old ice...

....with a couple of inches of snow on top
and I have a NEW LILY BLOOM!

OK, it's growing in the basement, but, hey, it's still pretty and cool!

Talked to my DH and he was complaining that the hotel hadn't
turned on his air conditioner and the room was too hot.
Yes, he is back in the tropics. I really felt sorry for him
:-( Another storm is supposed to be on it's way and the
driveway is a sheet of ice!

Thanks Bonnie for that taste of reality ... so, DH
is in the tropics, eh? I can relate to his discomfort.

I do like winter much better than summer.
My driveway has ice - now covered with snow. and
I still like winter weather! :)

Brrr, we're back to getting ice on
the pond overnight. Clear nights.
But sunny during the day so I
can live with that.
