Fences
 

Hi Everyone,

I cleared out a ton of trees last year when I built my pond. It's a
mix of locust (I believe black), maple and some cheery. Mainly it's
maple though. I'm going to use the locust as fence posts because I
know that they last a long time in the dirt without being treated. I
also wanted to use the maple as the fencing. Is it ok to use maple as
the fence since it won't touch the ground? Anyone know how long it
will last?

Also, does anyone know how to get the bark off a tree easily?
