Any Ponders in Berks County PA? (was: contractor recommendations?)

I would venture to say that the subject of your post (sounding very 'business' oriented)
and the use of a business in the "From:" field makes your post smell a bit too much like
spam, so many are reluctant to open it. Spamming has gotten so bad, between the pyramid
"make money" posts, and people who don't participate in the forum posting to hawk their
wares, that many of us have become quite suspicious.

Hopefully someone will see this and respond with a recommendation. Good luck!

I live in Berks County Pennsylvania and have moved into a property
with two ponds, roughly 40'x100'. The dams need work and I was
wondering if anyone could recommend a contractor who does this type of
work? Thanks
One dam is concrete and the other is stone and access is very limited.

Thanks, I'll try posting again with another subject heading.

Wetlands and dams usually mean lots of PA DER involvement. The
engineering firm of Entech Engineering Inc., 4 S. 4th St., Reading, PA.
handles the dam at the Hawk Mountain Boy Scout Reservation, in
Schuylkill County. They also do the engineering on many other dams in
the area. It is an excellent outfit.

They glean addresses from the message bodies as well as from headers.

Earthlink's spam filter does a good job of killing that kind of spam.
What I am killing is the people who just hit reply and write without
even reading a message.

LOL

Yes, I have gotten a few of those. And the inevitable re-sending, pondering why their
first 'post' didn't show up in the newsgroup.
